James Roy Morgan, 57, Waynesboro, TN

James Roy Morgan of Waynesboro, TN was born August 7, 1958 in Hohenwald, TN, the son of the late William Lonnie and Becky Isabell Ray Morgan. He was united in marriage to Betty Peacock on June 26, 1999.

Mr. Morgan was a former machine set up employee for tool manufacturing and departed this life on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home at the age of 57 Years, 3 Months, 21 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Peacock Morgan of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Matthew James Morgan of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Jamie R. Rickard of Collinwood, TN; two grandchildren, Olivia Briley Morgan and Annabeth Rickard; brothers, William and Lonnie Dewayne Morgan both of Waynesboro, TN and Frank Morgan of Clifton, TN; sisters, Lonnie Sue Morgan and Patsy Dicus both of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a brother, John Morgan.

A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
