James "Jimmy" Nesbitt
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 21, 1942 the son of the late Glen and Lucille Godwin Nesbitt.
On January 1, 1983 he was united in marriage to Janice Louise Gray, who preceded her husband in death on June 7, 2025.
James was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. View Church of Christ.
He departed this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 18 days.
James is survived by his stepson, Jerone Stricklin; grandson, Will Stricklin; sister, Doris Nesbitt Hughes; and brother, Charles Nesbitt.
