James Stinde departed this life on Monday, October 26, 2015, at the age of 72 years, 3 months, 19 days. He was born in Centralia, Illinois on July 7, 1943, the son of the late Clarence and Ruby Daughtry Stinde.
James was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a mechanic for Bill Rick Ford and a member of the Moose Lodge in Centralia, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, working and building stock cars, and riding dune buggies.
He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Stinde of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Hayley Shields, Remington McLin, and Sophie Marie Walker; great-grandchild, Abel James Shields; brother, Clarence Neil Stinde of Colorado; and mother of his children, Harriet Stinde of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Stinde; brothers, Richard Stinde, Buzz Jolliffe, and John Jolliffe; and sister, Mary Pennington.
