Services will be Friday, October 30, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with John Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.He was born April 12, 1937 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late James Travis, Sr. He departed this life Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 6 Months, 13 Days. He has been disabled all of his life.There are no known survivors except those he considered his family and friends at Buffalo River Services where he had made his home for over 35 years.
