James Orville Wilson

James Orville (Jim) Wilson, Iron City, TN was born December 29, 1927 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the son of the late James (Jimmy) Aaron and Ada Belle Harper Wilson. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Edna Wilson on January 3, 1950. Mr. Wilson was a retired dolly operator with Lincoln Brass. He was a member of the Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Cypress Inn, Tennessee and was a United States Army veteran serving 1953 to 1955. Mr. Wilson departed this life on Friday, July 22, 2011 at E. C. M. Hospital, Florence, Alabama at the age of 83 Years, 6 Months, 23 Days. Survivors, wife, Dorothy Wilson, Iron City, TN; brothers, Edward Boone Wilson, Iron City, TN, Bobby Wilson, Cypress Inn, TN; sister, Christine Dyer, Howell, MI; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by sister, Lillie Corene Powell. Services will be Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Allen Berry and Junior Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers will be Jake Smith, Ezell Stults, Tommy Martin, Jody Cypert, Chris Harper, and Larry Miller.
