James David Woods

James David Woodswas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 9, 1942 the son of the late William Mancil and Louise Wood.On February 25, 1977 he was united in marriage Nancy Janette Lackey, who survives.Mr. Woods worked for SunTrust Bank for 38 years, he was the Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President. He was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church where he served as an Ordained Deacon for 33 years.Mr. Woods departed this life on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the age of 68 years, 5 months, 24 days.In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by a daughter, Miranda LaDawn Woods Parson of Counce, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Brianna Leigh Parson and Andrew Clay Parson; a sister, Mary Irene Wood Carroll of Counce, Tennessee; 3 brothers, Bobby Gene Wood, Charles Ray Wood, and Kenneth Roger Wood all of Counce, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William M. Wood, Jr., Leroy Wood, and Donald Mark Wood.
