Jamie W. Harder

Jamie W. Harder was born April 22, 1944 in Hohenwald, Tennessee the son of the late Carlos James and Cyrena Hickerson Harder. Mr. Harder departed this life Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham at the age of 65 Years, 6 Months, 12 Days. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harder was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Casteel. Mr. Harder, a Viet-Nam veteran served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 and in the National Guard from 1981-2002. He was employed at Wayne Medical Center as a medical laboratory manager and was a member of the American Legion.He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Shirley Walker Harder; a son, Brett Harder and wife Patsy all of Waynesboro, TN; daughter, Natasha Harder of Tuscaloosa, AL; two grandchildren, Aaron Harder and Kaitlyn Harder of Waynesboro; a brother, Buddy Harder of Linden, TN; two sisters, Imodean Clay of Chattanooga, TN and Sue Hurt of Hohenwald, TN;
