Janace Brown

Janace Brown departed this life on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 10 days. She was born in Booneville, Mississippi on August 18, 1947 the daughter of the late Mavis Owens. On June 8, 1973 she was united in marriage to Gary Brown, who survives.

Janace retired from Hardin County Hospital in Savannah, Tennessee where she was a Registered Nurse for over 35 years. She loved her grandkids and enjoyed music.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary Brown of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Jonathan Brown and wife, Allison of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lilly Ann and Jay Brown; sister-in-law, Janice Savage of Sparta, Tennessee; nephew, Brad Owens of Asheville, North Carolina; nieces, Michelle McVey of Oxford, Mississippi and Jessie Blankenship of Jumpertown, Mississippi.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Owens and his wife, Katie; her grandmother who raised her, Kate McDowell; and a special aunt, Mozell "Auntie" McAnally.
