HENDERSON, TN: Jane Watson Voebell Huff, age 75, the widow of Kenneth E. Huff died Saturday afternoon October 8, 2011 at the home of her daughter Terry in the New Friendship Community.
Mrs. Huff was born in Blue Island, IL and grew up in Chicago Heights, the daughter of the late Lawrence ‘Larry’ and Bessie Mandelkow Voebell. She went to school at Blue Island and married Kenneth Earl Huff in 1955. They made their home in Matteson, IL and moved to the Mifflin Community of Chester County in 1983. She had worked as a certified nurse’s assistant at Chester County Healthcare until 1997. Mr. Huff died in January 1999.
She is survived by six daughters; Terry Saylor of Henderson, Danette Talmontas of Henderson, Tonette Tignor of Henderson, Tammy Rulon of Fulton, MO, Debbie Huff of Fulton, Mo and Missy Jo Rowland of Beech Bluff and a son Kenneth Huff of Matteson, IL She was preceded in death by a son Keith William Huff.
Mrs. Huff also has two sisters; Betty Lou Voebell of Kankakee, IL and Carol Joyce Olendorf of New Lenox, IL.
She has 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at New Friendship Cemetery with Clint Burkhead officiating.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel beginning at 11:00 AM Tuesday
