Janet Louise Howell

Janet Louise Howell, age 58, of Middleton, departed this life Friday afternoon, April 21, 2017 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was the daughter of Charles Austin Howell and Thelma Louise West Howell, both of whom preceded her in death. She was born September 20, 1958 in Memphis and lived all of her life in Hardeman County. She enjoyed watching birds and wild animals and especially loved her family and her eight nieces and nephews, who were dearly special to her. She was a Baptist in faith.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Barbara Osses (Luis) of Bolivar, Margaret Young (Larry) of Cedar Grove and Faye White (Charlie) of Middleton; a brother, Charles Wade Howell (Jill) of Middleton; her aunts, Shrilda Stamey of Middleton and Evelyn Mapp of Louisiana; an uncle, J. W. West of Memphis; 8 nieces and nephews, Sherry Dunavant, Brandy Cary, Christy Martin, Marty Young, Steve Young, Matt Howell, Eric White and Austin White; 18 great nieces & nephews and a host of dearly loved caregivers. The family requests memorial donations in her name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
