Janet Alexander Paradies

was born in Florence, Alabama on December 13, 1950 the daughter of the late John P. Jr. and Thelma Blanche McCowan Alexander.

On April 26, 1985 she was united in marriage to Abram Walter Paradies, who survives.

Janet was a retired Art Teacher from the Hardin County School System. She was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ. Janet in her spare time enjoyed doing art work, drawing and helping children discover their talents. She was an avid animal lover, especially dogs and cats.

Janet departed this life on Monday, July 8, 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 6 months, and 25 days.

In addition to her husband of 39 years, Abram of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her daughter, Brittni Hooper and her husband Lee of Reagan, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bryce, Logan, and Hunter Hooper; and brother, Johnny Alexander and his wife Glenda of Savannah, Tennessee.
