Janice Horton

Janice Horton was born on December 7, 1940 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Arthur Hershel and Louise Robbins Austin.

On November 1, 1964, she was united in marriage to John William Horton, who survives.

Janice was a homemaker and also owned and operated for several years in Savannah, Janice's Beauty Shop. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She departed this life on Friday, April 4, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 3 months, and 28 days.

In addition to her husband of 60 years, John Horton, Janice is survived by her son, Jason Wade Horton and his wife Jessica; grandchildren, Hannah, Leah, Abigail, and Rachel; and one brother, Gene Austin and his wife Norlenia.
