Janie Lorraine Daniel

Janie Lorraine King Daniel departed this life on February 28, 2009 in Bolivar, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 18 days.



Mrs. Daniel was born February 10, 1930 in Bolivar, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ernest (E. N.) Nunnery and Annie Bea Cisco King. She was united in marriage to John Ben Daniel on September 24, 1949 who preceded her in death on July 3, 2004. Mrs. Daniel was a clerk from 1973 - 2002 at Hardeman County Developmental Services in Bolivar. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bolivar, TN and a Charter Member of Cloverport Baptist Church.



Survivors include a daughter, Shari (Daniel) Morris and husband David of Bolivar, TN; a son, Michael Daniel and wife Becky of Bolivar, TN; three sisters, Juanita Overton of Bolivar, TN, Judy Wilson of Medon, TN, Jean Perdue of Bolivar, TN; two grandchildren, Loren Wilbanks and Jeri Ann McQueen; four step grandchildren Amber Michie, Andrea Kennemore, Bethany Shackelford, and Dave Blackwell; two great grandchildren, Colby and Danica McQueen, seven step great grandchildren Rachel and Mason Michie, Erin and Alyssa Kennemore, Ava Rose Shackelford, and Anna and Brett Blackwell. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by a sister, Linda King and three brothers, Vernice King, Ernest King, Bobby King.



Services for Mrs. Daniel will be Tuesday, March 3, at 2 o'clock pm at Shackelford's Bolivar Chapel with Rev. Jack Carver officiating. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery near Cloverport.
