Jason Dane Roberson

Jason D. Roberson of Iron City was born May 4, 1986 in Florence, AL the son of Glen and Sherry Jeanette Martin Roberson who survive of Iron City. He is the grandson of Glen Roberson, Sr. and Emma Jo Roberson of Iron City and grandson of the late Taylor Martin, Jr. and Frances Martin. Jason died on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from injuries received in an automobile accident at the age of 29 Years, 7 Months, 4 Days. He was a sheet metal worker and a member of Sheet Metal Local 48. Other than his parents he is survived by two sisters, Erica Nicole Roberson and Magan Sheray Roberson all of Iron City, TN, nephew, Kaden Lane Roberson and a niece, Ava Grace Moore.

Services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Junior Daniel and Keith Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers are John Daniel, Anthony Roberts, Marshall Robertson, Johnathan (Tank) Battles, Matthew Daniel, and Charlie Whitehead.
