J. C. CROTTS



Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 28, 1945 the son of the late James K. and Grace Elizabeth Smith Crotts.



On November 16, 1964 he was united in marriage to Kathy Myrick, who survives.



Mr. Crotts was a mechanic for Hardin County Highway Department. Mr. Crotts was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and later attended Pyburn Union Church. Mr. Crotts loved to farm he worked many years for the Williams family. He also help lay brick with Gene Allen Reed and he also did concrete work for the Stanfill family. Mr. Crotts loved his work no matter what kind of work it was. First of all he loved the Lord, his children, grandchildren and his great grandchildren. Mr. Crotts loved animals and loved to work with cows and horses. He loved old tractors and he enjoyed doing yard work. Mr. Crotts also loved gospel singing.



He departed this life on March 19, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years and 20 days.



In addition to his wife, Kathy of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 daughters, Bonnie Carter of Savannah, Tennessee and Connie Goodman of Savannah, Tennessee



3 grandchildren, Cassie Baggett, Corey Carter and Morgan Goodman



4 great grandchildren, Nevaeh Baggett, Ashton Cude, Kristan Carter and Jaden Goodman



one sister, Carolyn Pipes of Savannah, Tennessee



2 brothers, Joe Crotts and Ricky Crotts, both of Savannah, Tennessee



In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Melson and 2 brothers, Bruce and Bradley Crotts.
