J. C. Harville was born on April 13, 1933 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Elmer and Sinnie Mae Murphy Harville.
On September 1, 1956 he was united in marriage to Delores Diane Johnson, who survives.
J. C. honorably served his country in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an overhead crane operator at Whiting Corporation and as a self-employed roofer and farmer. He was a Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing, and playing guitar.
J. C. Harville departed this life on November 10, 2018 at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 28 days
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Delores Harville of Olive Hill, Tennessee; daughters, Cheryl Lamoureaux and her husband Pierre of Paris, Tennessee, Brenda Simmons of Olive Hill, Tennessee, Arlana Cummings of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and Dyna Wilkerson and her husband Barney of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Onnie Ray of Hartselle, Alabama; sister, LuGene Ziegler of Tullahoma, Tennessee; grandchildren, Winter Simmons, Jenny Simmons, Crystal Cummings, Justin Cummings, Phillip Lamoureaux, Natisha Guthrie, and Cesilie Stewart; and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his grandson, Dallas Ray Cummings and his siblings, Odell Harville, Doris Harville, Henry Harville, Thomas Harville, Jimmy Harville, Lena Martin, and an infant baby sister.
