Jean Marie Lehnert

Jean Marie Lehnertwas born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 21, 1935 the daughter of the late Catherine Groin Fontz.On June 18, 1950 she was united in marriage to George LeRoy Lehnert, Sr., who preceded her in death on August 14, 2004.Mrs. Lehnert was a sewing machine operator at Brown Shoe Company for 12 years. From 1956 - 1974 she had lived in Mt. Airy, Maryland and from 1974 till the present had lived in Hardin County, Tennessee. She was a member of the Waterloo Dulcimer Club and the Waterloo Senior Center, were she served as Assistant Manager.Mrs. Lehnert departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the age of 74 years, 10 months, 9 days.She is survived by a son, George Lehnert, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 daughters, Pam Austin of Savannah, Tennessee and Laura White of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Freddie Shands, Jamie Austin, and Alexandria Naylor; 5 great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Shands and a brother, Michael Groin.
