Jean Russell

JEAN RUSSELL
Bethel Springs, TN: Roy Jean Glimp Russell age 86 passed away Thursday afternoon November 16, 2017 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born September 18, 1931 in Lauderdale County, the daughter of the late Roy Glimp and Clara Cannon Spencer. She was raised by her stepfather Lewis Spencer. She attended schools in Lauderdale County. She married J.R. Russell in 1945. They made their home at Bethel Springs where Mr. Russell farmed and worked for G.E. and Mrs. Russell was a homemaker. Mr. Russell died in 2001. She continued to make her home at Bethel Springs until January 2009. She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church.

Mrs. Russell is survived by a son, Randy Russell and wife Linda of Bethel Springs; three daughters, Linda Hopper and husband R.C. of Henderson, Sharon Davis and husband Tim of Savannah and Kay Hill and husband Roger of Selmer; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Shane Connor officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Hill Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM Saturday until service time at 2:00 PM Saturday.
