Jeanette Coker Edgar

Jeanette Gresham Coker Edgar was born May 31, 1946 in Lauderdale County, AL, the daughter of the late George Henry and Vernaicelle Oliver Gresham. She was united in marriage to Luke Thomas Coker on June 19, 1965 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1981. She married Qunicy Edgar on December 14, 2007 and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2011.
Mrs. Edgar was a health care provider and worked with Buffalo River Services until her death. She was a member of Macodonia Missionary Baptist Church near Collinwood, TN and departed this life on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 9 Months, 7 Days.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Thomas Coker of Portsmouth, VA, and Brandon Henry Coker of Iron City, TN; four grandchildren, Luke Thomas Negroni-Coker, Ragan Monetta Coker, Braden Thomas Coker, and Abby Gail Grace Coker; two brothers, William Loyce Gresham of Charleston, SC, and Gentry Lane Gresham of Killen, AL; a sister, Cathy Ruth Gresham Fuller of Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Emerald Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
