Jeanie Juanita Hollis was born on February 27, 1957 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of Betty Hollis Franks and the late James Hollis, Sr.
Jeanie was a member of Love & Truth Church in Jackson, Tennessee and St. Johns Community Services. She loved to watch Tennessee sports and was a big UT Vols fan. She loved to socialize and never met a stranger. Jeanie loved to drink coffee and hang out with her friends and family.
Jeanie Juanita Hollis departed this life on December 24, 2025 in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 27 days.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Hollis Franks (J.C.) of Florence, Alabama; sister, Tracy Hollis of Jackson, Tennessee; brother, James Hollis, Jr. of Thompsons Station, Tennessee; stepsister, Amanda Stanfield (Robert) of Florence, Alabama; half sister, Janey Rice of Maitland, Florida; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Ginger and Judy; and caretakers, Shirley, Ruthie, Collette, Whitney, Sylvia, Kathy, Catina, Amy, and Teresa.
In addition to her father, Jeanie was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Hollis and stepsister, Tina Jones.
Memorial donations may be made to Dream Center of Jackson, Tennessee, RIFA of Jackson, Tennessee, or the Lottie Moon Fund at Eaglewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee.
