Jeanette Kelley was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on November 30, 1943, the daughter of the late William Ernest and Eudell Imogene Parker Bennett.
On December 9, 1961 she was united in marriage to Robert D. Kelley, who preceded her in death.
Jeannette was employed as a driver with Southwest Tennessee Human Resources. She had also previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and as a homemaker. She was a member of the Soul's Harbor Church in Savannah, and she enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She departed this life on September 1, 2015 at the Hardin Medical Center, at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 2 days.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Kelley of Savannah, Tennessee; three daughters: Janice Gibson and Colleen Putney (Paul), both of Mt. Morris, Michigan, and Gloria Keith (Tim) of Camden, Indiana.
One brother, Johnny Bennett (Pat) of Oklahoma.
Five sisters: Shirley Bruce of New York; Nora Whorley and Joyce Blankenship, both of Wyandotte, Michigan; Barbara Whitlow of Taylor, Michigan; and Cindy Caines of Romulus, Michigan.
One twin sister, Joanne DeShazier of Adamsville, Tennessee.
Ten grandchildren: Jimmy Wilkerson; Derrick Arcond; Jeff Hamilton; Christopher Kelley; Shawn Gibson; Jennifer Davis; Wayne Putney; Steven Keith; Timmy Keith; and Brian Keith, and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Richard Bennett.
