Jeannie Jones

Jeannie Joneswas born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on June 21, 1922 the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Antonette Domzalska Slawski.On February 10, 1943 she was united in marriage to Reginald Wilson Jones, who preceded her in death on October 13, 1974.Mrs. Jones was a school teacher for at Tangelo Park Elementary in Orlando, Florida before she retired. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance, Lions Club Rotary and the American Legion of Eau Gallie, Florida, Florida Congress of Parents and Teachers, St. James Cathedral and St. Nicholas Catholic Church of Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Jones departed this life on August 22, 2010 at the age of 88 years, 2 months, 1 day.She is survived by a son, Robert William Jones of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Kathryn Jean Watson of St. Petersburg, Florida; 2 grandchildren, Brandie R. Jones and Megan Watson; a brother, Alexander Bernard Slawski.In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by, a sister, Josephine A. Slawski; 3 brothers, Henry P., Joseph P. and Stephen S. Slawski.
