JEFF BUTLER, III

 Henderson, TN: Robert Jefferson Butler, III, age 72 passed away October 8, 2024, at his home.

He was born May 8, 1952, in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Robert Jefferson Butler, Jr. and Marjorie Alice Robertson Butler. He grew up in Memphis, TN.

He sold furniture with his dad for many years before starting his own landscaping business, Butler Enterprise, which he operated for the past ten years before retiring in early 2024. 

He married Evelyn Cook on September 27, 2014, and they made their home in Henderson.

He was a member of the Estes Church of Christ.

His favorite pastime was “chewing the fat” at the “liars table” daily at Jacks Restaurant with his friends.

Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Evelyn June Cook Butler of Henderson and a sister, Ann Phillips (Dave) of Germantown, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be announced later.
