Jeff D. Selby

Jeff D. Selby departed this life Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the age of 86 years, 1 month, 7 days.Mr. Selby was born in Pope, Mississippi on May 16, 1926 the son of the late Jesse and Pearl Ethridge Selby. On September 3, 1955 he was united in marriage to Gail Adkisson, who survives. Mr. Selby served our country honorably in the US Navy during W.W.II and the Korean Conflict. Once home he became the owner/operator of Jeff Selby Refrigeration Services. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Gideon International and a lifetime member of the VFW. He loved to fish, hunt and garden.Mr. Selby is survived by his wife, Gail Selby of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Kathy Selby of Memphis, Tennessee and Sherri Rinks and husband Randy of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Holly McDaniel and husband Chris, Heather James and husband Peter; great grandchildren, Jack David McDaniel and Selby Ann McDaniel; sisters, Margie Harrington and Dean Gordon both of Memphis, Tennessee, Nancy Harrison and Patsy Beacham both of Marks, Mississippi; brother, Travis Selby of Marks, Mississippi.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy, Sammy and Pete; sisters, Maxine Balentine and Rozelle Follearellie
