Mr. Parks, died Monday evening, November 14, 2011 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The son of Billy Thomas and Margaret "Tootsie" Lax Parks, he was born October 13, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He lived in Texas for 25 years, working for the Dallas Morning News as a printer, and then the Commercial Appeal. He was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter, Chelsey Parks of Memphis; a stepson, Michael Singleton of Dallas, TX; a sister, Susan Moore and husband Johnny of Bolivar; a niece, Bethany Wilson and a nephew Jonathan Moore.
