Jeffie Bell (Sid) Scottwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 10, 1922 the daughter of John and Bell Hunt Smith.On March 15, 1940 she was united in marriage to Thomas Scott, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2005.Mrs. Scott was a housewife and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.Mrs. Scott departed this life on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the age of 87 years, 3 months, 28 days.She is survived by 4 daughters, Margaret Thompson of Clifton, Tennessee, Joyce Wright and Gail Scott both of Savannah, Tennessee, Sherry Wardlow of Counce, Tennessee; 2 sons, David Scott of Savannah, Tennessee and Ray Scott of Counce, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Emma Todd and Robbie Frazier of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 brothers, Ted Smith of Savannah, Tennessee of Savannah, Tennessee and Caral Smith of Martin, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Scott; 3 sisters, Mary Francis Smith, Grace Crotts, and Sue Pipes; 4 brothers, JC Smith, David Smith, and 2 infant brothers; a grandson, Klint Wardlow.
