Mr. Jeffrey A. McVey, 65, of Scotts Hill, TN, passed from this life Thursday morning, November 28, 2019 at his home.
He was born April 18, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late William Robert "Bill" McVey and Rubye Kathleen Austin McVey and had lived in Decatur County for 10 years. He was a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University and received his master's degree from Harding Graduate School of Theology. After his undergraduate work, he was employed as a computer programmer with Bank of America, and was a member of Red Walnut Church of Christ.
Among his survivors are his siblings Patricia Brock (Harold), Teresa Gwen McVey, Lori McVey Lieber (Marc) and Robert Curt McVey (Carrie).
