Jeffrey Gene Farris

Jeffery Gene Farris of Waynesboro was born March 23, 1957 in Waynesboro, TN the son of Catherine Brewer Farris of Waynesboro and the late Harold Gene Farris. Mr. Farris departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 8 Months, 16 Days. He repaired lawn mowers and pallets. He was married to Brenda Joyce Staggs Farris on November 29,1974 and she preceded him in death June 11, 2001.

He is survived by a son, Jeffery Carl Farris and wife Brandi of Waynesboro, TN, a daughter, Brandi Louise Heard and husband Richard of Murray, KY, mother, Catherine Farris of Waynesboro, TN, a sister, Marsha Ann Butler and husband Roger and their children Keith Butler and Ginda of Waynesboro, TN, a brother he adopted, Jerry Harris and wife Renee, special brother in law, Gary Van Talley, five grandchildren, Xzavier Drake Farris, Devin Lee Heard, Michael Alexander Heard, Richard Dwight Heard Jr., Henry Thomas Heard, step grandchildren, Ashton McKinney and Jacob McKinney, step great granddaughter, Emmalynn Jade Monae Harbin. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Farris was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen (Kathy) Smith Talley, niece, Kathy Ryan Butler, nephew, Jeremy Talley
