Jackson, TN: Jereld Allen Mullins age 38 passed away February 25, 2017 at his home.
He was born December 19, 1978 in Jackson, TN and grew up at Malesus, the son of Paula Dawn Scarbrough and Charles Lewis ‘Chuck’ Mullins. He graduated from Southside High School in 1996. He worked as a journeyman electrician, did HVAC work and most recently worked in assembly and delivery for Handicap of Jackson. He was an avid re-cycler and fed stray cats all over Jackson. He was a member of the Pinson United Methodist Church.
Mr. Mullins is survived by his mother, Paula Scarbrough of Malesus, his father, Chuck Mullins (Rita) of Deanburg, his grandmother, Ann Scarbrough of Malesus and uncles and aunts, Mike and Vickie Scarbrough, Joe Northcott, Beth Scarbrough, and Janie and Kevin Rouse, Chris Mullins, Tommy and Debbie McIver, Joseph and Louie McIver and Rose Marie and Ronald Alley.
He was preceded in death by grandparents; David Scarbrough, and Delmar and Maragret Mullins and an uncle Bubba Scarbrough and an aunt Vicki Northcott.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Dyer and Mike Scarbrough officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery at Malesus.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday.
