He was born the son of Joseph Samuel Cook, who is now deceased, and Janes Sue Peebles Cook. He had worked as a carpenter.
His surviors include his mother and step-father, Janet Cook King and husband, Manley, of Toone; half-sisters, Mariah Napier and Patricia Greene of Benton, IL; half-brothers, John Zeboski and his wife, Sarah of Bolivar and Dwayne Zeboski of Arlington, TX, Ricky Cook of Benton, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Charles Zeboski.
