Jerry Wayne Alley, Sr.

Jerry Wayne Alley, Sr. was born on August 19, 1948 in Cerro Gordo, Tennessee, the son of the late Freeman Edward and Elizabeth Garrard Alley.

Mr. Alley worked as a mechanic and loved to work on anything he could get his hands on. He was a hard worker and took pride in what he did. Jerry loved to spend time with his grandchildren and take trips to Florida and Louisiana.

Jerry Wayne Alley, Sr. departed this life on Monday, November 10, 2025 in Trimble, Tennessee, at the age of 77 years, 2 months, and 22 days.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Wayne Alley, Jr.; daughters, Wendy Alley (Heath Hutchison), and Chelsea Elizabeth Alley; brothers, Randall Alley and Billy Alley; sisters, Brenda Maness, Kathy Branning, and Glenda Smith; grandchildren, Chester Lee Alley, James Cole Younger Alley, Payton Diann Ray Austin, Makayla Nadine Elliott, Cayden Trey Alley, Hannah Jolynn Alley, Maci Mae Alley, and Chevy Diane Alley; and great grandchildren, Owen Lee Alley, Rayleigh Grace Abel, and Reese Duane Abel.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Chester Lee Alley; sisters, Patsy Boswell and Tina Faye Alley; and brothers, Freeman Alley, Jr., Jimmy Lynn Alley, and James Alley.
