Jerry Don Barber

Jerry Don Barber, Sr., died Sunday July 19, 2009, in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 64 years, 8 months, and 14 days.He was born November 5, 1944, to Wilma Tedford Barber of Stantonville, Tennessee, and the late Dennie Barber. He was a carpenter and a member of West Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife of 30 years, Ruth Barber of Stantonville; a daughter, Terri Gant-Kalil of Miami, Florida; 2 sons, Alan Barber of Boston, Massachusetts, and Donnie Barber of Memphis; his mother, Wilma Barber of Stantonville; 5 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.Other than his father, Jerry was also preceded in death by a sister Doris Blanton.
