Jerry O'Neal Butler

Jerry O'Neal Butler was born February 22, 1948 in Selmer, TN, the son of the late Joe and Lena Mae Butler. He departed this life on February 11, 2024 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 11 Months, 20 Days.

He will be remembered for his extraordinary passion and talent as a DJ for events. His dedication to music and his craft brought joy to countless people throughout his life. 

He will be remembered not only for his exceptional skills behind the turntables but also for his love of collecting albums, records, and antiques.

In addition to his passions, Jerry was known for his warm heart and kind soul. He had an uncanny ability to connect with others on a personal level, always ready with a listening ear or a comforting word. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Butler and wife Ashley Butler of Round Rock, TX; ex-wife, Debbie B. Cox of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Doyle Butler; two sisters, Robbie Pressly and Mattie Lingelbach; niece, Lisa Edmonds; lifetime partner, David Franklin White; niece, Tricia Thompson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Butler.
