Jerry Corley was born November 24, 1942 in Greenville, MS, the son of the late Claude Gray Corley and Stella Louise Beck Corley. He was united in marriage to Frances Davis on December 23, 1982. He had attended Sinners Hope Church in Sardis, TN. He served in the TN Army National Guard for 6 years. Jerry was a military history buff and always enjoyed going to Shiloh National Military Park. He also enjoyed, watching westerns and football, his dogs, watermelons, and loved his family.
Mr. Corley departed this life on October 31, 2017 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 74 Years, 11 Months, 7 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Corley of Selmer, TN; three step children: Steve Tankersley and wife Brenda of Morris Chapel, TN, Richard Tankersley and wife Melanie of Strayhorn, MS; and Angie Livingston and husband J.R. of Morris Chapel, TN; a brother, Sidney Corley and wife Pam of Sevierville, TN; a niece, Heather Jackson; a nephew, Kenny Corley both of Memphis, TN; 7 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
