Jerry Harrison Davis was born on October 8, 1947 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Joe Harrison and Jessie Pauline Copeland Davis.
On July 3, 1971, he was united in marriage to Patsy Jo Young Davis, who survives.
Jerry was a truck driver and dispatcher for Elam Trucking Company. He was a driver for Aqua Glass, Saturn, and also self-employed trucker in his early adult years. Jerry was a member of Spoken Word Fellowship. He loved fishing, gardening, and camping.
Jerry departed this life on January 16, 2023 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 8 days.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Jo Young Davis of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughters, Beverly Renfro and husband David of Adamsville, Tennessee, Regina Cheaves and husband Gerald of Selmer, Tennessee, Jenifer Copeland and husband Eddie of Adamsville, Tennessee; sister, Janice Dodd of Trenton, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jacob Cheaves, Jenny Kawano, and Nickolas Drumright; step grandchildren, Keith Wilkerson, Jennifer Parker, Candice Steely, and Douglas Renfro; and great grandchildren, Everett and Dovie Kawano.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Davis Jr. and brother Jimmy McArthur Davis.
