Mr. Franks departed this life on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his residence in Florence, Alabama at the age of 63 Years, 9 Months, 21 Days. He was born June 17, 1949 in Lutts, TN the son of the late Wilford (Bill) Lee and Myrtle Louise Holt Franks .In addition to his parents, Mr. Franks was preceded in death by brothers; Wilford Everett Franks and Joel Boyd Franks; nephews; Randy Franks and Timothy Brewer.
Mr. Franks before moving to Florence, Al. had lived in Tyler, TX.
He was united in marriage to Angela Camp on February 14, 2001.
Mr. Franks was a disabled truck driver in the past had work for Zip City Express Trucking and of the Baptist faith .
He is survived by his wife Angela (Camp) Franks; the apple of his eyes where his 2 handsome sons, Austin Dekota Franks , Colton Lynn Franks all of Florence, AL; brother, Jimmy Ray Franks and wife Kathy of Lutts, TN; sisters, Evelyn Ruth Luther of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jeanie Faye Brewer and husband Howard of Collinwood, TN, spec ial sister in law, Aliene Franks of Florence, AL; special niece, Kathy West Montgomery; special mother in law; Barbara Atkinson all of Florence, AL; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday,, April 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Ricky West and Willie Paul Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens ,Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors , Wayne County, directing.
Pallbearers will be Nicky Franks; Lee White; Howard Brewer; Michael Camp; Tommy Franks; and Jeremy Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Ivey; Nick Hinton and Josh Atkinson.
Following service's family and friends will going to McGlamery Church Fellowship Hall, Collinwood, TN
