Jerry Lee Sides was born February 17, 1955 in Memphis, TN the son of the late Bill Sides and Opal Sowell.

Mr. Sides was a self-employed welder. He enjoyed fishing, playing chess, and caring for his dogs. He loved life, talking with people and making them laugh. He served his country honorably in the United States Army for 12 years.

Mr. Sides departed this life on August 17, 2015 in Southaven, Mississippi at the age of 60 Years, 6 Months. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lena Box Sides of Southaven, MS; three daughters, Michelle (Sides) Haggard and husband Brian of Jackson, TN, Tonya Campbell and husband Barry of Corinth, MS, Amanda (Sides) Palmer of Corinth, MS; two sons, Jerry Fowler of Henderson, TN, Shannon Sides and wife Amanda of Corinth, MS; 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Jones and husband Marvin and Joyce Barnes all of Memphis, TN; a half sister, Reese Lewis of Memphis, TN; two half brothers, Philip Cagle of Memphis, TN and Tony Sides of Guys, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
