Jerry Calvin Sipes

Jerry Calvin Sipes, age 65, of Bolivar, passed from this life November 2, 2015, at Bolivar General Hospital.
A life-long resident of bolivar, he was born August 3, 1950 to John Calvin and Opal Iona Fish Sipes. Jerry was an accomplished musician and was well known around the area for his musical talent. He also worked for the Hardeman County Sanitation Department as an attendant at the Grand Junction Convenience Center and was much loved by this family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his wife of 29 years, JoAnn Sipes; 4 daughters, Amanda Baker and her husband Rusty of Middleton, Candice Brown and her husband Andrew of Lufkin, TX, Charity Ragsdale and her husband Michael of Walls, MS, and Summer Seever of Bolivar, TN; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother J. T. Sipes.
