Jerry Ann Crotts Hulen Young was born on May 27, 1939 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Alva Porter and Carrie Mae Blount Crotts. On September 17, 1955, she was united in marriage to Charles Fisher Hulen, who preceded his wife in death on March 16, 1988. She was later united in marriage on November 17, 2007 to Lewis Young. Mr. Young also preceded his wife in death on June 14, 2008.
Mrs. Young was employed by Angelica for 40 years where she worked in the shipping and receiving department. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church and lived in Hardin County all of her life. She loved feeding birds, growing plants, and her dog, Benji.
Mrs. Jerry Ann Young departed this life on November 14, 2015 in Jackson, Tennesee at the age of 76 years, 5 months, 18 days.
She is survived by 1 stepson, Tony Young of Nashville, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Reba Jo Reynolds, and her husband Paul, of Savannah Tennessee and Janice Trawick, and her husband Curtis, of Tupelo, Mississippi; 1 grandson, Jeremy Hulen; 1 great-grandchild, Fisher Hulen; and a host of nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Hulen, and a brother, J. Porter Crotts.
