Jessie Nell Keel Anderson

Jessie Nell Keel Anderson was born on October 5, 1943 in Waterloo, Alabama, the daughter of the late William Keel, Jr. and Jewel Hinton Keel.

On June 17, 1961, she was united in marriage to Donald Joseph Anderson, who preceded his wife in death on July 14, 2024.

Nell worked in clothing manufacturers in Hardin and McNairy County. She worked at Robinson Nuclear Plant in South Carolina in the tent shop. As they traveled all across the United States, she worked at several restaurants as a waitress.

She had a great love her husband of 63 years and all her family. She loved to have the family over for special occasions and she enjoyed cooking for everyone. And boy, could she cook! She had a love for growing flowers, especially roses. She and Don loved to travel and camp and they traveled quite a bit after they retired. They had a great life together.

Jessie Nell Keel Anderson departed this life on September 25, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 11 months, and 20 days.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Anderson and his wife Angela of Savannah, Tennessee and Steve Anderson and his wife Sherri of Adamsville, Tennessee; brother, Donnie Keel and his wife Marie of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, David Anderson and his wife Krisi of Gadsden, Alabama, Matthew Anderson and his wife Janay of Glencoe, Alabama, and Casey Basinger of Selmer, Tennessee; and great grandchildren, Harper Anderson of Glencoe, Alabama, Jax Anderson of Gadsden, Alabama, Noah Anderson of Glencoe, Alabama, and Alexis Basinger of Murfreesboro, Tennessee

In addition to her parents and husband, Nell was preceded in death by her brothers, Lindel Keel and Jimmy Keel and sisters, Inez Harmon, Hazel Faull, Adda Keel, Dorothy Cavanaugh, and Remonia Keel.
