Jessie Mae Jerrolds

JESSIE MAE JERROLDS

was born in Clifton, Tennessee on December 4, 1920 the daughter of the late Robert Roy and Esther Corrine Alley Cole.

On October 21, 1942 she was united in marriage to Jim Frank Jerrolds, who preceded his wife in death on May 8, 1976.

Mrs. Jerrolds was a homemaker and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She departed this life on April 15, 2017 in Waycross, Georgia at the age of 96 years, 4 months and 11 days.

Mrs. Jerrolds is survived by her children, Jimmy Frank Jerrolds of Savannah, Tennessee, Juanita Marie Elmore and her husband Douglas of Halls, Tennessee, Jeffrey Eugene Jerrolds and his wife Mary Alice of Savannah, Tennessee, Joseph Mitchell Jerrolds of Savannah, Tennessee, James Edwin Jerrolds and his wife Betty Jane of Nashville, Tennessee, Jay Allen Jerrolds of Iuka, Mississippi, Janis Christine Elbrink and her husband Christopher of Waycross, Georgia, Joyce Elaine Hollomon of Boone, North Carolina, Joel Keith Jerrolds of Boone, North Carolina and Jacqueline Carole Kluver of Omaha, Nebraska.

31 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren and many others that she thought of as her own.

one brother, John Glenn Cole of Savannah, Tennessee and one sister, Helen Corrine Pickens of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Thomas Jerrolds and Jesse David Jerrolds, one daughter, Janet Renee Jerrolds, four sisters, Mattie Elliot Cole, Lucille Gertrude Shaw, Rachel Cole and Joann Cole Smith and three brothers, Harold Edward Cole, Malcomb Roy Cole and Don Eugene Cole.
