Jessie Eugene Kirk, Jr.

Jessie Eugene Kirk, Jr. was born on December 10, 1955 in Joliet, Illinois, the son of the late Jessie Eugene Kirk, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Brazier Kirk.

On December 15, 1973, he was united in marriage to Gladys Laverne Kirk, who preceded him in death on November 3, 2019.

Jessie previously worked as an electrician for Clayton Homes. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved being outdoors and going hunting and fishing with his friends. Jessie often worked in his yard and tended to his garden. He also fully believed Bigfoot would be caught someday!

Jessie Eugene Kirk, Jr. departed this life on October 27, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 69 years, 10 months, and 17 days.

He is survived by his son, Michael Eugene Kirk and his wife Amy Joyce Kirk; daughter, Chana Michelle Burns; sister, Cindy and her husband Mark; and grandchildren, Nicholas Gage Andrews, Hannah Nicole Burns, and Emily Grace Kirk.
