She was united in marriage to Wesley Roberts on June 2, 1934. Mr. Roberts preceded her in death on April 29, 1999.
Mrs. Roberts was a supervisor for 31 years at Amory Garment in Amory, MS . She was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Ramer, Tennessee, loved to cook and enjoyed sewing.
Mrs. Roberts departed this life on December 22, 2009 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 6 Months, 23 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Gilmore of Ramer, TN, Sherry Aldridge and husband Ron of Amory, MS; six grandchildren, Gary Gilmore and wife Kim, Tony Roberts and wife Lisa, Melissa Wienstein and Ron, Billie Rose and husband Ryan, Cecilia Miller and husband Doug, Cindy Raper; nine great grandchildren, Kendra Gilmore, Hannah Jackson and husband Chris, Camden Roberts, Zachary Raper, Rya Raper, Cailyn Raper, Amanda Miller, John Lee Miller, Jessica Miller; a grt-grt-grandson, Ethan Noah Jackson; two sister-in-laws, Lois Colburn, Kay Colburn; seceral nieces and nephews; caregivers, Wanda Cooksey, Debbie Gordon and Joyce Wren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Riggan; a son, Cecil Roberts; three brothers, Luther Dean Colburn, Harvey Colburn, Gaston Colburn; a sister, Vivian Gan
