Jewel Franks

.Jewel Franks was born on May 21, 1925, the daughter of the late Warren Frank and Lula Bell Stricklin Wilkerson. She was united in marriage to John Coy Franks, who preceded her in death on February 9, 2007. Jewel departed this life on May 31, 2017, at the age of 92 years and 10 days.

Jewel worked as a seamstress at Garan's before she retired. She was of the Pentecostal belief, and lived in Hardin County most of her life. Jewel enjoyed sewing, and gardening, and watching her Great Grand Dog, Oscar. She loved dogs and hummingbirds.

Jewel is survived by her daughter, Linda Jerrolds of Savannah, Tennessee; a son, Donny Franks of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jennifer Davis of Savannah, Tennessee, Terry Franks of Birmingham, Alabama, and Jerry Franks of Birmingham, Alabama; great grandchildren, Jimmi Lynn Davis, Jordan Davis Bills, Lainey Franks, and Maddie Franks; and a great great grandchild on the way, Jenna Caroline Bills.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jewel was preceded in death by her son, Lonny Franks and her sister, Beulah Franks.
