Jewel Maxine Kelley

Mrs. Jewell Maxine Woodall Kelley departed this life on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at her home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 11 Months, 4 Days. She was born April 22, 1929 in Nashville, TN the daughter of the late Authur Andrew Woodall and Nannie Ruth Harris Patterson Woodall Mays Wilson . In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by brother, Bill Mays, sisters, Virginia Dare (Woodall) Roberts, Anna Bell Mays, Lorine (Mays) Lowery, Ruby (Mays) Roberts.

She was united in marriage to Ray Farris Kelley on August 25, 1950.

Mrs. Jewell was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting . She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Ray Farris Kelley, sons, Rickey Ray Kelley and wife Elgenia all of Waynesboro, TN, Mark Anthony Kelley and wife Jan of Fairview, TN. grandchildren, Joshua Ray Kelley and wife Holly, Benjamin Andrew Kelley and wife Kimi Sue, Andrea Michelle Schoedel and husband Ben, Brent Anthony Kelley and wife Cessna, 13 great grandchildren, brother, John Mays of Florida, sisters, Mary Lois (Hamm) Bales of Nashville, TN, Marie ( Mays) Callis of Knoxville, TN.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Ron Hamm, Alfred Earl Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 28, 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 29, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
