Jewel Perry

Jewel Perry departed this life on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the age of 88 year, 4 months, 1 day.Jewel Holt Perry was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on June 20, 1924, the daughter of the late Wallace and Clemmie Holt. December 1941, she was united in marriage to Loyce Perry who preceded her in death July 1991. Mrs. Perry was a seamstress for Angelica and Collinwood Manufacturing Company. She loved quilting, gardening and flowers. She was a member of the Gillis Mills Community and Abrams Chapel Methodist Church.Mrs. Perry is survived by a daughter, Annie Sue Norwood and her husband Sonny of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchild, Lisa Shambeau and husband Dwayne of Selmer, Tennessee; 2 great grandchildren, Adam Shambeau and Cassidy Shambeau both of Selmer, Tennessee.In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sonia Norwood; sisters, Willie Dodd, Ann McFall, Ethel Patterson, and Bessie Fisher; brothers, Wayne Holt and Lee Holt.
