Jewel Geneva Bratton Reaves

Jewel Geneva Bratton Reaves, 76 of Cypress Inn, TN was born March 7, 1940 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Linnie Louise Hinton Bratton. Mrs. Reaves departed this life on August 8, 2016 at her home in Cypress Inn, Tennessee. She was united in marriage to Maynard Lee Reaves on April 14, 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughters, Rebecca Darlene McWilliams and husband Gary of Cypress Inn, TN, Rhonda Charlene Rickard and husband Joseph of Florence, AL; a brother, Sonny Bratton and wife Sherry of Collinwood, TN; sisters, Joyce White of Lawrenceburg, TN, Linda Morris and husband Ricky of Collinwood,TN , Judy Kephart and husband Charlie of Waynesboro, TN, Brenda Keeton and husband Terry of Collinwood, TN, Susan Miley and husband Alan of Collinwood, TN, a grandchild, Brooke Rickard of Florence, AL.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Reaves was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Bratton and Melvin Bratton.

Services will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee with Greg Eaton and Junior Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery at Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
