Jewell McKee

Mrs. McKeee died Sat., Aug 25 at McNairy County Healthcare Center. The widow of Erb McKee, who died in 1999, she was a homemaker. She was born in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Neal and Tinnie Donaldson Stanley and lived all of her life here. She loved to read, garden, visit with her friends and was a member and Sunday School teacher for 40 years at Porters Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Julia Cupples of Jackson; three sons, Wayne, Harold and Delbert McKee, all of Middleton; two sisters, Jolean Nelms of Bolivar and Chastine Luttrell of Middleton; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Rudell 'Penney', Malcolm 'Doc' and Wendell 'Nick' and two grandchildren, Megan Nicole McKee and Gary Dean McKee.
