Jewell Richards

Jewell Richards, a beautiful soul, was born on September 9, 1943, in McNairy County, TN, to the late Douglas and Myra Coley White.

She was united in marriage with Jerry Wayne Richards on March 25, 1961, forming a partnership filled with love and devotion that would span over sixty-four beautiful years.

A graduate of Bethel Springs High School's Class of 1962. Jewell worked for several years at a jewelry store, where she brought joy to others with her kind spirit. Above all, she was a remarkable mother whose greatest pride was her family.

Jewell, alongside her beloved sister Dorothy, sang in the Doc Whitaker Quartet, using her music to help support their large family. Her passion for singing was a testament to her joyful spirit. A faithful member of the Assembly of God church, Jewell's faith was a cornerstone of her life.
