JIM TAYLOR

Henderson, TN: Jimmy Darrel Taylor age 70 passed away February 27, 2017 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 17, 1946 in Kenosha, Wisconsin the son of the late Fred and Virginia Ells Taylor. He graduated from Salem Central High School in Salem, WI. He entered the U.S. Army and served an Army Paratrooper. He married Sandra Lee Mueller in 1971 and they moved from WI to Henderson in 1976. He was a carpenter for Watlington Brothers Construction Company and then Kilgore, where he retired. He loved to fish and mowing the lawn.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Mueller Taylor of Henderson; six sons, Robert Taylor of Medon, Dave Kumlien of Morenci, Arizona, Bill Kumlien of Morenci, Charlie Kumlien of Waldron, AR, Joe Kumlien of Smyrna and Fred Taylor; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Taylor of Michigan and one sister, Darla Leinenkeugel of Ohio. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Harold Taylor and Charles Taylor.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Mike Schaefer officiating.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday.
